There's like 5 other drivers in the DC that I work at, they all said, yea, every 3 months you got to go down to the OC, and they make sure you are doing it the " Schneider " way.
What that has to do with a federal regulation I'm just not seeing. -
For those I can't jackhammer the knowledge into, I fail them. SQT passes them anyway. Hence why I don't think people listen to me.
@sealevel - my thoughts were not directed at any particular driver. You all have risks and choices. I applaud you all for making the choices that work for you. Rather I refer to the grand scheme, not just transportation but across all industries and corporations. Companies using technical classification to shift costs, liabilities, and responsibilities away from the corporation and to the individual worker as a way to build share holder value. From my perspective it is eerily familiar to the labor practices of the robber barons circa 1880-920. The actions of that relatively small group of men set the standard for the entire economy and directly led to the era of big government and onerous regulation.mickimause and 91B20H8 Thank this. -
My point of regulation is that SNI believes that they are required to ensure you are aware of and following FMCSA regulations and are competent to operate a large CMV. In that regard we bring all drivers in once a year to ensure compliance.jakecat22 Thanks this. -
Don't believe everthing you hear driver, if you do your time will be miserable.
