Yeah, most the guys run fast. LOL And the fats is where they load heavy. Its nothing to be 92k with a load of fats.

3.80 is high, more like 3.20 on the high end. And I wouldn't touch a cattle load a 2.15. Remember, your going to be burning a whole lot of fuel. What percentage are they talking about taking from you to broker the loads??? Also, ask them about dead head miles. Also, are you pulling their cattle pot, or getting your own. They aren't cheap, when you get a good one.

The broker usually carries cargo insurance, at least ours did, but with what he skimmed off of us, we were paying for it anyway.

Its hard to switch back and forth, unless you get a broker that is into both types of cargo. Bull hauling really happens all year long, there is no break. There are busy times and there are slower times, but in all reality, there's loads all the time. Most brokers have contracts with the slaughter houses, and you will haul fats in the winter and the summer. Spring and Fall are usually when you haul the feeder loads.

Its pretty common on super hot days. They are so packed in there that they cannot stay cool. The stress is definitely a factor.
