Hireright lawsuit?

The reason Im in their system is because I tried to get something off my DAC thats been on there since 2002 and it is still on there and if they think they are gonna buy me off for 47 bucks they are crazy.

 

Send in the post card and get your money. Stick a fork into them. It's not going to be that much of money. The Attorneys here are the winners They are asking for 60,000 plus certain other monies as well.

If these people did wrong and they are in court to pay the settlement in a attempt to avoid a much more expensive trial against the United States Government and class participants then they should pay.

 

I got a card today. My dac was accurate. I didn't pay them anything. I usually don't fill this stuff out, because that will be another computer that will have my personal information.

 

Yes I also received one the other day but it says $200 payout. I don't really care it found the trash can. It wasn't a card but a long 5 or 6 page letter full of explanation. I did have a big issue between Central ref and Dac back in 07. I do not desire to make myself a target to anyone on the industry.

 

I got a letter a few yrs ago about a class action lawsuit against these people, didn't think much about it and a few months later got a check in the mail for $147
....i guess they're getting sued again, imagine that
I can't believe how cowardly some of our drivers are about this stuff

In the age of information it is not cowardice..... If its overturned Hire Right WILL come back for the money and potentially sue over it. The lawsuit will be a witch hunt looking for ways to sue for more than they paid out. It has happened..... I have no interest in going to court over $200 and my family is first period! Call it what you will but when my family's income and well being could be on the line thats where I draw the line! Besides my issue was resolved so I will not sue a company that though I dont agree with them even existing did clear up the mess. A mess that wouldn't have happened had they not existed in the first place but thats another issue to get steamed about on another day....

But nothing like that has happened to me or anyone I know
And no I didn't have to go to court or anything like that neither

....and so in fact I got another letter just recently and I will do the same thing as before ...
Just smile and wait for a check in the mail again, these people are definitely not innocent, they have hurt alot of families in this country with their lies and wickedness and they should pay these families back ten times what they owe every single person they have hurt in this country!!!

I wrote them a letter on behalf of all drivers, kindly letting them know that they desperately need to change their wording on dac reports back in 07, they sent the letter back to me with no reply but they made a mistake by putting it on file, .. a copy of that letter which found its way to a lawyers hands which really gave the lawyer some fire to throw at them in court
They have justice coming after them and alot drivers will be glad to see it happen , they will be thrown out with the trash once again and hopefully we can rid ourselves of them for good this time!
.... I'm not worried one bit about it myself because the truth will beat the snot out of a lie any day

There are thousands of datacenters that concern themselves with recording everything we do. If you are not doing anything illegal there is no concern or problem. Frankly I don't worry about them.

In the years to come, it will worsen in it's overall collection of information from everyone. Even these posts are collected and retained somewhere for future use. The resources of a company, Government etc are always greater than that of the Individual.

 

I had a friend who had her identity stolen. The perpetrator went and got bank loans, which of course were never paid.

It took two years of multiple calls and certified letters to get that mess straightened out.

I just try to minimise that sort of thing happening, but it's probably a losing battle.
