Hi I will be getting my cdl here in the next 3 weeks. I live in central Washington. About 2hr30mins from Seattle/tacoma.
I have every endorsement except passenger & school bus.

Do you know of any good company's that will hire new driver without 2 years experience. My minium pay would be 50K. Anything more would be extra nice. I would like to do hazmat but a lot of company's require the 2 years experience. This sux because I paid almost $100for the endorsement that I might not use. We shall see .

I am looking for loCal/regional first. My last option would be OTR.

There's a ups frieght with a potential 9K bonus.mmm makes me think too good to be true. It says out 3-5 days at a time.

    So what do you think.

JJW, unless they have changed in the last year, does NOT hire rookies. Not trying to start an argument, but that's my latest info.

Sysco hires rookies at about that amount.

You have ZERO skills rookie, and it's a LOT harder than you think, even day-cabbing. (Try backing into a dock 6 times a day, I PROMISE you it's harder than you think.)

If you don't want to do OTR and want $50k+ your first year... Get a union job. TIMA Trucking out of White Swan, WA is hiring tanker drivers at $21 an hour, but good luck getting that job with only school.

JJ Williams is probably real picky, but a couple of new cdl grads posted they were hired there. It's worth a try anyway.
Try Leavitt's Freight Service; I know they hire new cdl grads.

I applied to System as a brand new graduate. I was told by recruiting to "forget" JJW... BUT, you are right JJW, has their own thing, and even the System guys were like...Whatver, you JJ guys are in your own ballpark, so forget everything...

Leavitt's are a great outfit. I've talked to a lot of their drivers. Pet-friendly, easy gpoing. The equipment is rough, but ti's a mainly pole-hauling company, so no room for APUS, etc. It's NEW equipment, but creature comforts are definitely lacking. And that's DEFINITELY a OTR job.

Yup Im one of them JJW wierd o's. Lol. I know we hired a guy right out our DTS school in Pasco. Even tho we are the small group of the 3 with Trans-systems we seem to have lots of new guys. Ive only been here for 2.5 years and I hardly know any drivers out of the spokane yard, but we dont have a yard in Moses so it might not work for the OP.

    Jubal3 and Chinatown Thank this.

@Roberts450 - how about Lynden? I know they hire new cdl grads and have a few teams with Alaska runs. Any of that near the OP or should he just call them?
