Schneider wants you to send in a DVIR for your truck every day. If you don't, after a couple of weeks you'll get an automatically generated message saying "Plz send in DVIR for (date) to be DOTSNI compliant"

However, as we know, the DOT does not require a driver to send a DVIR for a piece of equipment with no defects.

 

I could be mistaken, but didn't it used to just say "DOT compliant" before the Feds said we didn't have to complete a report for a vehicle with no defects?
