I'm running on recap hours, I might have to reset to get a good load from Command.

I'm in Idaho at a Love's, on my way to Portland.
My middle daughter was happy that her little sister didn't like being on the truck. She will get on with me at my next home time in MN. She went out there to spend the summer with my sister, but she can't wait to get back in the truck for the second half.
I guess it was too much to expect all 3 to take to the trucking life.
I was hoping.
Luana and Leann both love it, but Lorelei is too much a social creature. She missed home and friends and pets too much. Not unlike many new drivers in this occupation.
She had doubts before coming, but I'm really glad she tried. We did have some fun and special moments while he was here.
So I'll pick up Leann, and deprive Laura of her special presence, for the rest of her summer vacation.scottied67 and blsqueak Thank this. -
Notice all the 'L' names?
I did early on, and decided to push it to the extreme.
My mother, Louise.
My sister, Laura.
Then my brothers wife Lena.
My first wife was Linda.
With my last wife, Leah, I went all out when we started having girls.
Luana, Leann and then Lorelei.
I just could not resist the chance to confuse everything with a bunch of L's in the female line of things.CasanovaCruiser, scottied67, Buckeye91 and 2 others Thank this. -
Sayre, OK. Looks like I might be doing something that I have not done for some time. Idling all night. It is not going to cool down below 80 until about 1 in the morning
-
PA Welcome Center. No idling?
Its 90 degrees here! I knew I should've shut down in WV.
I read somewhere that trucks with the California "Certified Clean Idle" stickers are exempt. Any truth to that? -
Yes that is true also if the temperature is below 40 or above you may idle for Driver comfort during mandated breaks.Charlie Mac Thanks this.

Vernon, TX. Me thinks that the system is all messed up today. Had a issue today that messed up my hours for pickup tomorrow and delivery on Friday. So I call in and ask if by chance there is actually a window for Saturday delivery. DM looks at my hours and says no way you can make it and there is no way, but the system says you can make almost 1300 miles by Friday evening. Then I get the suggested plan and it shows with my hours Saturday delivery. Now DM is arguing with planner to set up t-call and planner is saying that can make it on time. Something is messed up. My DM was telling me that this has been going on all day, system saying can make delivery when no hours and also the opposite, can not make when driver has plenty of hours

The Land of Trout, OR.
The place I delivered to this morning has moved, so the GPS directions were correct.
Swift's fuel route and directions were both wrong (even though the address is correct), and the system didn't think I was at the customer when I sent the Mac 5.
If I had gone by Swift's directions it would have been another 45 miles away and made me a couple hours late.
That place is now only a few miles from the terminal, so no rush hour traffic to worry about coming from the east.
The only load I picked up today was a trailer move, dropping my mt at a paper mill in WA with instructions to bobtail back here. I ended up at the Love's.
No new pplan yet. I'm hoping for a load out of the terminal so I won't have to find an mt. -
The T/A, OKC. Got loaded and send in loaded call for Saturday and told running late. Called DM and even short by 4 hours according to the pplan, system shows that I am tracking on time. There is something screwy with this load
