I brought the guy two of the best studs on the market and he's going to combine the best attributes of both into the best of everything.
Bob in PA and Keith in Fontana CA will probably be the first to sell them. -
I got a alumium hd stud from wilson and one from hard drive...He says his is better but i see very little physical differences..What am i not seeing that makes the diff?
-
I don't know what he uses
-
Will be watching for further details.....Rabbi ! I have always had great experiences with BOB's ! So far they have never let me down! Please keep us informed!

It would be funny if 100 guys contacted the Machine Shop telling him how desperate they are for a decent quality stud and wanting to know how quickly he's going to get it finished.
I'll probably give him a call in about a month to see what progress he's making

Given that I have (had) one, I'm 99.9% certain it's the Procomm JBC930SS
And trust me, there are differences. The similarities between it and the Wilson stop at looks. The Wilson is of drastically lower quality. I've compared them. If you must have a cheap truck stop stud, get the "maxi-stud" they have at Pilot. That is a better piece than that Wilson stud you mention.rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
I'm not sure I believe it but according to A-1 Telecom website that stud is made in the United States.

I just got an email from the Machine Shop and he said he should have a working prototype by this weekend. When I get to see it I'll take pictures of it and post the pictures.
