    I have been having this problem with paccar. They replace replace replace and the same problems keep occurring over and over again. Now they believe I have a bad #4 cylinder. Truck has been in and out of the shop since March of this year and its always the same dang issues with the after treatment system. They hook up put a part on 5-7 days where back again with same dang issues, light on, wont regen and derated........

    Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately your story is all too common. There is no (legal) answer to your problem aside from selling it and buying a 2007. People can chime in on endless forums about fixing after treatment on trucks but the facts are irrefutable, the two choices I've laid out are the only two choices any of us have. I've been an honest business owner and law abiding American taxpayer for 25 years, but I was forced to abandon my upbringing and principles in order to feed my family. You'll have to make that choice for yourself.

    Yes I know this is a common story but what can we do to change it? MHC Kenworth is the king of excuses. They sell a product that is plagued with problems and then on top of that they have NO RESALE value. Warranty's offered are a freakin joke. I tried to trade it in and what they offered for it was a joke.
