I don't know what others are making. But, that seems low to me. I started OTR with Swift 2 years ago. I think my starting rate was around 42 cpm. I've been with them 2 years and I get 54 cpm. Also, I'm in the West and seldom go farther East than Denver. I'm listed as a Western region driver, although occasionally I will go East of that to like Wisconsin or Illinois. I won't go to the Southeast or Northeast. Probably 75% of the time I run in WA, OR, ID, CA or UT. 98% of the time I stay West of Denver.
However, I stay out usually about a month and a half to 2 months before going home for about a week. I guess I could probably get hometime more frequently if I wanted it. But, the month and a half to 2 months being out is what works for me.
