Is getting a passport mandatory or optional

Have you never watched a movie? Then they kidnap and torture the family members! You never go to the police unless you want your friends and family to be harmed

 

They can't go to the police because they're criminals themselves and wanted by the Chinese police.Most are facing either life in prison or execution in China. Canada should have never let them into Canada in the first place. Guess it's easier to harass truckers.

 

If they don't require a passport then they don't. Most companies won't force you to run up there but some will. You will just have to check the requirements.

 

Are we talking about MEXICO here? Canada is safe. Have never had any issues there and I go a few times a year.

 

You don't have to have a passport to go into Canada. You can get an enhanced drivers license if you want to go. It is faster and cheaper to get. I have not crossed the border since 9-11 and would rather not break that streak.

 

All this makes one wonder about priorities and and being consistent.

Passports are OPTIONAL.

NO ONE CAN FORCE YOU TO LEAVE/GOTO CANADA!!! NO ONE!

If on the other hand you WANT TO GO, YOU NEED A PASSPORT!

It is that simple.

Passports aren't hard to get and they last for ten years. It wouldn't be a bad thing for people t have them. Especially for those who may fly when on vacation. I read on some news channel that the Dept of Homeland Security will make having a Passport MANDATORY for ANYONE wanting to fly...DOMESTICALLY.

Also, for anyone considering getting a TWIC, the process will be much faster if you have a Passport. That's what I was told when I got mine in Florida back in 2012.

 

An enhanced drivers license is faster, cheaper and will get back from Canada and I believe it is good for Mexico also but not positive on that.
