Rubbermaid good. PHX, bad

 

Better than going to Ontario, Cali and dealing with the planners at Jurupa Valley.

The pplan said pick up at Lowe's DC 124 miles away at 1600 then deliver to the Lowe's here at 0800 tomorrow morning. It was 250 miles loaded.
There was a comment that I could deliver early.
About 2030 I called the store and spoke to a manager to see if I could deliver at around 2300. Nope, there are no receiving people after 1700. But she told me the actual delivery window is between 0800 and noon, so it won't be a problem. I'll just send a mac 22 explaining.
So I'm sitting in the Lowe's parking lot tonight.

 

If you are already there why would you send a MAC 22 for a 0800 delivery

 

True. Every time that I have gone to PHX, the majority of what I get offered has been CA or Vegas

 

Because Moose sends a Mac 22 if his morning bowel movement is late!

I on the other hand spent 4 years with Swift and sent less than 5 Mac 22s.

 

Still here at the T/A finishing my 34. Last night went inside and saw some of my favorite Keebler crackers and asked them how much for a box instead of a few packs. They looked it up and said $6.29, so I had them put 3 boxes behind the counter for me until morning. When I went back in found that they were on sale and only about $3.19/box, so back to the counter for 3 more boxes. Now 6 in the truck. Now they sell for $.99/pack. Get a idea about the mark up and profit on one pack. Oh, there are 12 per box. Today get a message that my load does deliver on the 25th and pta set for 1230. Then the planner that is covering for my planner sends me a pplan. Pick up on the 24th and deliver on the 25th for live unload at 0800. Call my DM and he was not surprised. He had to fix everyones pplan today that was getting a pplan from this one planner in Decator, including all of us on the Bush's account. Said that this whole week has been really messed up

 

TA Santa Rosa, will try to finish up in Phoenix tomorrow and run again Saturday.
