I'm interested in the brokerage business, but upon searching in google some websites look like scams or probably do not teach properly.

I am looking for a school that knows a lot about being a broker and if possible, affordable pricing.

I'd love to hear everyone's opinions and thoughts.

    Thank you!

EDIT: Also please let me know what to look out for when searching for these schools and how to differentiate between a good and bad freight broker school.

I can't help you with a school recommendation, just be cautious and do lots of research. brokers are a necessary evil and come and go faster than drivers. In fact, a lot of folks would argue that "reputable" and "broker" don't belong in the same sentence.

There's a film that might give you a view into the world of being a broker...watch Glengarry Glen Ross.
Not brokers per se but you'll get the idea.

All of those broker schools are a scam, your best bet is to go work as an "agent" under another broker and learn the ropes. Once you have a decent book of business and $70K on hand then go get your broker license. Just be aware competition is fierce in this industry.
