There's a "black box". I have to reset mine from time to time. The button is up on the side and is small. Check both your side boxes. It's in there somewhere!

Cascadia?
It's under your bunk. Drivers side. There is a black box about 12 x 12, its a white button popped out on the side, probably eye level if you pop the access door out side the truck. Press in until it clicks.
Call TK in SLC, they are by far the most helpful, ask for service, if this doesn't work. -
I couldn't find a black box in drivers side. Now there is an 1800 w inverter there (cane with truck) there is a power button and a select button in top of the paneling surrounding the inverter. It is one of those freedom hf 1800 models. It was showing 12.8v and all my apu will do is come on, the fan will blow and you can hear the buzzer but nothing else happens. Fan then shuts down for about ten seconds comes back on but still no apu motor. This is all brand new truck is 2017 freightliner. everything in this truck is brand new. I pulled the panel off of the interface to check fuses none were blown, apu is good on fluid and belts. Truck is idling now and the volts shot from 12.8 to 14.2 in about a minute. But when I go too shut down the truck to run apu the unit won't start.

1. do you have a 110 v wall-plug? if yes, between the plugs there is the small reset button like you have in the bathroom plug. Press and hold that.
2. In the bunk, left or right side, you will find a vertical box, where all the wires goes in. Somewhere on that box, it should be a small pushbutton, about 1/4 Inch rad. and 1/4 inch sticking out., It is about the size of a pen in thickness . Probably a red button. Press that, That will reset your system. -
What model TriPac do you have? The older style had a reset button on the side of a vertical box which was usually in the passenger side box. The newer Evolution model does not have that button, resets are done by turning the unit off and on at the control panel. The unit will not start if the switch on the actual TriPac engine is in the off position, which you will have to open the panel like you are checking the oil to see. If you have an Evolution with the DPF it will also not start if the regen switch is pushed down, or the toggle switch beside it is in the off position.

If you are getting a fault code reset it and cut the unit of and back on and see what happens.

Need more info, is it the old tripartite, or the evolution? Has it run before? If so it's not the main kill switch, if not, probably the kill switch on the unit. Completely shut it down on the panel in truck try to restart.
TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.
