I started driving for UPS in this division through a driver placement service. They use White Freightliner day cabs and it is no touch dedicated freight. Point A to B, get unloaded and reloaded at same dock then back to Point A. Monday through Friday about 8 1/2 hours a day.
The driving service pays me by the hour and they talk like UPS wants to hire me. Does anyone know how this division pays? If it is mileage pay going to have to be pretty high since I only run about 1,630 miles a week.......thanks for any replies

Found out today I would have to driver for the driving service for 6 months before UPS would hire me. This position has never been filled by UPS since it is a new position to them The manager said it would have to be looked at to decide pay since it there isn't enough miles to be paid a mileage pay.
Guess there were no answers because there were no answers -

Hi Dave.....it's from Wisconsin to Illinois and back everyday
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
A small note, white is out of the business of making trucks. I may be wrong.
UPS people I know of drive maybe a few hundred miles one way, swap the train with the other coming the other way and return. Cushy work.
I would not do it personally because every time there is a storm or winter weather those are the first sideways trying to chain. -
OH. *Bangs head. Im so stupid. I should not be allowed to live without a license...
