    Hi all,

I would like to show you some very cool Argosy trucks from my country, South Africa. They mostly pull b-double curtain side trailers with up to 34 tonne payloads (legally allowed 56 tonne gross).

I asked my local dealer if he can make one and he gave me build sheet to go over all off the options i want. he said next month he will be building one for a guy working for FedEx. So yes, it can be done. Freightliner of Utica in Utica NY can do it.

To my knowledge the closest dealer in my area that'll do one is Freightliner of Hartford in Connecticut.

You need to know the job the truck will do before you spec it.
I've had bulk haul job with truck spec for a pulling a van.
Which had a 5th wheel to short for the trailer making it over weight on the drives cutting down on payload/revenue.
Many fleet buy one truck spec to save money upfront.
But the money they lose with the wrong spec could pay for several truck over the life time of one bad spec truck.

I'm in the market for new glider, been looking for Cascadia, but now Argosy could be too.
I want to order glider to be ok for dry van and car hauler, because company I leased to now run dry vans, but going to car hauling business, already bought 2 wally mo 8 cars trailers. So I want to be able to switch any time from dry van to carhauler.
And Argosy could be ordered in short wheelbase.
Just curious about Argosy front axle weight under the load.
