Should be able to find that info either on their website or easily by calling them.

The holding period is 2 weeks! The reason being is so that when or if you quit, they hold or deduct any amount that they feel you owe them for supplies that they furnish you at orientation. And if you quit before I believe was 6 month, they will also deduct your Hotel stay, meals, the $300 they give you for orientation pay and medical card. So if you hire on and don't like the for any reason, watch out, you may have to stick it out until you reach the minimum stay!? Trust me, I know 'cause I just quit them last week! Wish you luck...really. Sorry, don't know anything about the fish run. I ran Flatbed and just about went broke! (too many brokered loads)

icsheeple Thanks this. -
I did a year with Core Carrier when I started out. One of Sharkey's sister companies. Nothing fancy. I never heard of a fish run. Did St Joe, Mo to Chambersburg, PA a lot. It was their longest run I ever had.
I'd keep searching. Like I said, nothing special. Here's my six month and one year review:

If I went company again, I'd focus on accessory pay and equipment. If someone offered me .50 CPM, good detention, layover, and breakdown pay. And had a new Volvo 780 or something else big, nice, and quiet, with auto tranny, diesel APU, inverter, fridge/freezer and microwave already installed. I'd sell my truck and run whatever they wanted. -
Hey, no problem. I know there are no perfect companies but...Really! If any one wanting to hire on any way, I will do what I can to tell them about the pros...??? There were a few.
