This company sucks. Drivers are treated like they are insignificant. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND coming to this company. The pay is low I can barely take care of my family. Max Fuller (ceo) has his head buried up his ### and is so out of touch with the company it is unreal. If you want to get screwed over then by all means apply.

You could change the name of the company to virtually any mega coolie-carrier and your complaint/s would be the same

    Sorry.
Lemme guess, the recruiter said you can go dedicated right thru your home state, guaranteed miles and hometime...

That's probably what happened. Too may people in cdl school are excited about their new career and jump on the first job offer without doing any research. The best companies aren't advertised at cdl schools; just the usual suspects.

Let me guess, you just recently got off the trainers truck where you were doing 6,000 miles a week between the two of you and you thought gee, I can half of that every week and now your not, so your mad as heck.

If YOU are just starting out, don't expect to make I proven myself wages until you've actually proven yourself.

I have been with US Xpress now for a little over 2 years as a Owner Operator. I believe they are just like anywhere else. You will find things about them you don't like. I have been driving a truck for 18+ yrs now and I gotta say I like it here. I make a decent living and I am able to pay my drivers well. I have 2 trucks currently leased with them and now bringing on my third. It sounds like to me you wont be happy anywhere you go. I watch everyday new guys come and go. I listen to these guys tell me how hard of a job this is and how they only want the guarantee. Well don't limit yourself. Door is wide open if you don't mind putting in the work to get it. Prove yourself and give it all you got. Dispatch knows who the go to guy is, that gets the load there safely without complaint. But you new guys keep coming over and dropping loads. Me and my guys don't mind picking up the slack. Shaking trees and Raking leaves all the way to the bank

What always amazes me is how a few drivers say a company is terrible, talk a lot of smack, and then come across like they have done nothing wrong and have no idea why they have had bad experiences, then a lot of people jump on the bandwagon and begin speaking negatives.

This forum is to help drivers do their due diligence, not knock companies. This industry is one of the best and for some, it has kept them from having to file personal bankruptcy, helped put kids through college, feed a family.

What I have learned over time is that no driver wants the company they drive for to hire more drivers, because they believe that more drivers equals less freight for them to haul. For smaller companies, this could very well be true, the bigger companies, probably not as much.

You cannot make everyone happy. Many people pick apart everything at the company they work for. Some don't even realize when they actually have it good. If someone naively believes that they will never make an above average living in trucking, than they are naïve for a reason.

While there is useful information here, those who immediately say that a particular company sucks, doesn't take care of their people, etc, while speaking from their experience, cannot speak for everyone at a company.

With so many trucking companies to choose from for employment, those who stay at a company for 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, are not stupid people. They stay for a reason.

The one question I am willing to bet no one has ever asked someone who talks trash about one company and leaves, then posts about that so called bad company two years later, is how many companies have you been two in the past two years.

Let me add this is as well. I am not saying that people cause their bad taste about a company without reason. I am not saying that many here have not been treated like crap by a company. I am not saying that people have not had bad pay wages and checks and have no reason to be angry.

What I am saying is that this industry is not an easy one. No one gives you something worthwhile for nothing. You must pay some dues and prove yourself. I am also saying that you need to do your research about a company and make sure it is a good fit for you.

I have heard some claim that immigration is causing a flood in this profession. Is that true?

Lots of Eastern Europeans immigrating to America and becoming truckers and there's plenty of room for them in trucking.
