they did just fine, summer, mud, winter, mud and back to summer

around 12000hrs the 1st clutch packs let go, but they were still warranty.

OTR 5-6 axles 13 spds are fine, heavier i can see 18 spds

Less fatigued at the end of the day. Really. The shifter doesn't weigh 50 pounds. If I had to use and excuse like that I would think about tearing up the license. Nothing beats and 18b. Because I like being in control of gears and the rpm of my truck. And if ever it was to be and auto it would be and allison

I will run a manual for as long as I drive. I don't need yet another thing that can malfunction and ruin my day because a wire got loose or a sensor was unhappy. The money saved in fuel does not exceed what it costs to replace it when it breaks.

A friend of mine just started January 2015 and he drives a day cab Volvo with ishift. I told him he is going to be absolutely furious when the truck puts a light on the dash says there is an error and the truck won't go forward anymore. He was so hell bent that the Volvo was the greatest truck ever because of all its electronics and lack of gauges ... if there was ever a problem the computer would display the message defining the problem and everything would be great. Fast forward to today. Transmission has crapped out twice and he is ready to light truck on fire. Now he listens a bit more lol
