Up and at 'em!
APU air conditioning went out last night. How is it the temp in the truck stays 15° warmer than outside with all the vents open in the summer, but in the winter with everything shut tight it won't hold heat for more than a few minutes? I think my trucks are conspiring with each other to kill me.
I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Chilling at the Econolodge since I couldn't get the APU fixed today. They're gonna get me a load in the morning and get it fixed in transit.
-
wait I'm confused isn't this the same storyline as the previous company- ie just load it and worry about fixes down the road
Pintlehook, 4mer trucker and sliver Thank this. -
That's why I'm not a big fan of APU's. And dealing with Thermo King can be a real pain.
-
Meh. It's better to fix it in transit while making money than sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting to get it fixed.
Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this. -
The load always comes first.
-
@Captain Zoom Are you still hanging in Allentown? I may get an extra run up that way tomorrow.
-
Sitting in Columbus
Pintlehook Thanks this. -
Repairs done (leak from cracked fitting).
Waiting to finish paperwork so I can get rolling. 2 days breakdown pay per dispatch ($100/day). -
Got a load from Cleveland to Boston with a preplan from Springfield MA to Nashville.
Load cancelled halfway through my deadhead.
Graaaar.
