Beware of Autotransport.com

Yup I saw that yesterday as I called on a load of theirs. Told them it would have to be cod but they said they can't do that. They always have decent rates in my area, but then again I have my filter at 45¢/mi per car so I don't see what goes on below that

 

They always paid an ok rate and always on time for us. They lost their Carmax contract soooo...yeah. They're going through a hard time atm. But we just got checks from them last week without having to fight em...

 

They have been having issues for a long while. 10 or so negatives show up & then go away. This is the worst string of non payments I have seen from them. But something bad aside from the Carmax deal has been happening. That said, they have not been late paying me in recent years. Though the last time I did anything for them was March & believe it was a Carmax order.

 

We listed Autotransport.com earlier this spring for late payment. Last week we get a call from the "problem solver" telling us they have gotten rid of the bad apples. They are wanting us to give up our negative rating. Has anyone else been contacted in this way? Has anyone else been told they have have replaced the bad apples? She told me she had reduced the negative ratings from 45-5.

 

No. Our partner gave them a bad rating one morning but the check was delivered by usps regular mail that afternoon so we actually had to remove and apologize. Recently been booking with them and they have been paying.
Maybe it was a matter of someone not doing their jobs properly. We had to several times resend BOLs and stuff. It was always tough to get a hold of their accounting team. Don't know now. I no longer get involved unless it is really bad. Like DAS bad lol

 

To be honest, they have treated us well, I knew they were having some problems, but we were never strung out overly past due, and as of right now they are current with us, so I will continue to work with them and hope they can recover from losing CM.

 

They always pay but are slow at times. They always post as 5 day pay but closer to net 15. I very seldom pick cars for them.

All of these years I never knew the Autotransport.com & Roadrunners Auto Transport were connected. Same mailing address & website for both.

Looks like a lot of people received bad check in the last 24-48 hours.
