Hireright lawsuit?

Probably hundreds of comments on just this site alone about Hireright.
They are scum, they are ruining me, they should be run out of business.
In the mail you receive a proverbial nail for their coffin. A chance to do something about an agency that has harmed our profession. In response we get, oh no the government might be watching, they might Survive the lawsuit and come after me, blah blah blah.
I've already sent mine in. Step up, grow a pair, and send it in.

 

it is highly possible, the other side is refuting your claim, or the other side is out of business. i'd not stop at trying to get anything removed, or amended.

 

this is right. the more people that send in the paper work, the more we stick it to DAC/Hire Right. if no one files, then they win, and can continue to keep up with thier crappola.

sooner or later, MORE class action suits will come, and who knows, maybe then, the owner of DAC/Hire Right will dis-ban the entire operation.

Hire right deserves this lawsuit ! For good reason...
They have been withholding all the information on the dac reports from the drivers so they could cut back on disputes from the drivers
.... Self serving and very underhanded

 

The FTC emposed a fine of 2.6 million dollars on HireRight a few years back. A record fine.
In 2006 HireRight reported that I was a habitual offender (3 or more felonies). After fixing that problem I find out a week ago that after 22 years of driving I have no listings of prior employers. So....fill out your paperwork for the lawsuit and maybe one day we can put this worthless company out of business.

Anyone that doesn't participate in the lawsuit is part of the problem. This is your chance to stand up and make a difference. Also, I'd be willing to bet that ones who DON'T participate will be the very ones crying about how HireRight/DAC is severely hurting their professional reputations in the future. STAND YOUR GROUND! Solidarity! You weaklings make me sick.

If i request my report each year and the information on the report is correct, should i become a part of a lawsuit that does not affect me????

 

did you get a letter/post card in the mail?

if not, then you are not in the suit.

they will get your name off the request/mailing list. for future suits.

so get a copy every year, no matter what is on the report, make corrections only if you have to.
