Hotel? Not exactly, more of a dormitory. An industrial complex with two man shared room. If you want a private cell, the charge is 1/2 the usual fee. Oh yea, bed bugs are free.
They grind out new drivers at an incredible pace....got to keep them seats filled....
For a new kid, it's one option to get a CDL, there are other ways....without having to move to springfield.

Well you don't HAVE to "move" to Springfield. There are prime drivers who "live" all over the country.

When a driver trainee goes in to get his permit and his CDL licence what US State of residency does he put on the application?
Wouldn't that be the State where he took the test....and use the Corp HQ of Prime, Inc. as his/her address. I know, It's just a technicality, but then he has to go back to his /her home state and transfer the Class A , and pay the state fees. -
That's outrageous !
It was such an inconvenience for me to go back to Florida and transfer my CDL back to my home state
How dare they pay my bus fare, hotel stay and feed me and then expect me to transfer my CDL
3 years later I am still OUTRAGED !redoctober83, FullMetalJacket, Chucktshoes and 2 others Thank this. -
They didn't pay you - they loaned you the money and you had to work there to pay it off at a slave wage!

redoctober83, KeithT1967, FullMetalJacket and 4 others Thank this.

Well. Yes, I guess you are "moving" but it's just a legal thing. AFTER you get your CDL you just switch it back over to your home state. IDustyRoad Thanks this.
-
Well my friend got denied by Prime... (until a ticket from nearly 3 years ago falls off)
Still looking for a job but will probably have to go to a bottom feeder now.DustyRoad Thanks this. -
I state the facts......the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Tens of thousands of experienced drivers refuse to submit to Prime, Inc policies and be treated like kids rather than adults.
