The west cost Schneider I/C board rates is one of the reasons I never took my truck over. Living in the west cost the rates are junk for the most part. Now if I lived Mid west or east, it would be a totally different story!

To make 1800 to 2000$ a week ? Lease or O/O is not for everyone. You have to want to go that direction with your career and are planning for a future with the truck. Its just like moving up the ladder in a company, The difference is you control where you go in your next step with your own truck.

I have worked for Schneider and how they do it is they pick all the loads they want for their company trucks and lease operator's get to chose the left overs.

This is my opinion from an ex Banker point of view. No companies lease purchase plan is something you want to get into. You need to lease a Truck from a truck Leasing Company. They are in the business of leasing trucks therefore they cannot take advantage of you as they would go broke doing so.

Chinatown recommend Cardinal to you. They have a third party company that they work with. So that means it is a safer bet.

I would consider Fed Ex. You would want to lease purchase from a company like Loan Mountain and get a white Volvo or some lesser truck (my preference is showing). Once you start the process with Loan Mountain many companies would love to lease on a married couple. You can demand top dollar.
