After getting a run around at the terminal due to the truck not having a prepass I called my fleet manager, who told me she had a prepass so I didn't have to wait 3 more days at the hotel, she also advised me the truck I'm in has been sold and I'll be taking it to Atlanta to swap it for a brand new truck. I hope I can tolerate the butt juice all the way up there lol the terminal told me I'd be in the junker for 20 days, my fleet manager told me she'd get me to Atlanta asap. So I called the terminal and they won't let me leave with the truck because I took a road test and now have to have a 10 hour break. I don't see why it was 5 miles but whatever. I'm just glad I have a good fleet manager and dispatcher I've worked with during training. So hopefully soon I'll be posting pics of my new truck, for those who wish to see. Dealing with the equipment people at the terminal has been a nightmare. However the ladies in safety are awesome, I had a great day until I thought I was getting the crap truck permanently. I feel a lot better knowing i only have to do maybe one load in it. I didn't mean to sound like a crybaby earlier but that truck is seriously disgusting.

Doesn't sound like being a crybaby, more of someone who is into driving something safe and clean. There are a LOT of disgusting humans out there who think what you are driving is ok. I remember my second trainer at Werner in 1998, he was about 350-400 pounds, only stopped to eat once a day and would only shower every other day. He was real cheap too, back then, each fill up you get 1 free shower ticket. One day for him and one day for me, hence the shower every other day. I told him I would pay for my own shower each day and I needed to eat more than once a day. I lost about 10 pounds in a week due to starvation and was done with Werner after that. He was all about the money for him and his family and we was banking $50k back in 1998. BTW, he would go home about 3 days a month. I thought to myself, is ANY amount of money worth only seeing my family basically 30 days a year? This is why I left in January 1999, went back into the Navy, which gave me a lot more time with the family than Werner did back then. It is nice to see someone stick out and I hope they stick you with a 2017 truck!

Um.. first truck is a hoop d. It's a test.
Ask for some pay to clean it out and roll with it till it breaks. -
hey got 2 questions for the op...one, did you do your training hours with the training on a automatic or manual? and your solo truck, did they give you an auto or manual shift truck?? Thank you.
