Yes, you will have to have a CDL first, but then Schneider pretty much sends you out into the world after orientation. Luckily, I did team driving at first with an old timer for 6 months that really helped with actually learning what the heck I was doing.

I was told about 1200 to 1300 a week gross for the dedicated account, Family Dollar or General Dollar, cant remember which one. Was told that this included $60.00 to hand unload or unload a full trailer.

Was told that trucks are in fact automatics, which is ok with me. When I did not fill out the application within a few days period, they began emailing and texting me to quote on quote, remind me, that I needed to finish it.

Was told, you get home every weekend. In on Friday for most part, back out on Sunday night.
