Unusual? No, annoying? ABSOLUTELY!
Lepton1 and Badboyy0121 Thank this. -
Until you hit the trigger on that drill while you're landing gear is bound up, and that drill pops out of your hand, spins around and cracks your wrist several times before you jerk your hand away. Ya just can't remake the wheel.Studebaker Hawk, Lepton1, Blackshack46 and 1 other person Thank this.

Their web site is not even active any longer. Musta been a good seller.
Studebaker Hawk, Lepton1 and tucker Thank this. -
Using the blocks as ramps means not having to scrape grease off them when you are done. It would be so much easier if schools simply taught drivers how to drop trailers. Nearly every school teaches crank the gear to the ground and then add 1-100 cranks for good luck and America.
EVERY driver coming to us, no matter how many decades of OTR experience, leaves trailers too high & is convinced if the trailer makes a sound as you pull away from the trailer the world will split in half and everyone burn to death. smh!!!FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
An impact would destroy the internal gearing inside the landing gear.
Studebaker Hawk Thanks this. -
you are dumping the air in your tractor airbags right?
-
Of course... in both cases, the trailer was left too low by the shipper for me to get under, even with the bags dumped...
When I drop the trailer, I land the legs just snug to the ground(but I had been taught just enough for crack o' daylight between the 5th wheel and the trailer), and let air out of the bags as I get out from under.... -
Rgn ramps on the back of your bobtail. You wouldn't even need to crank down the landing gear at all. Leave them up all the time.

Same idea as the wood. But a 1 time use.
