DONT CALL BROKERS

I'm not too sure this Windsmith knows what planet he's on.

 

I stated in a previous post that I had a customer I dealt with that I met through a broker.... He still calls them when I am unable to pull his freight. The last load I did for him, he called them about the rate.... And called me right after to tell me what they quoted him.... Its pretty sickening to know what they are really making. As aways said, owner operators need to stay away from cheap freight.

 

Most posted shipments I already know what the freight is, and about how much the brokers are going to pay. So on that note, I don't call brokers, I already know what there going to say.

 

Thanks but really don't understand what your trying to say.Guess you know one broker so your claiming to know all about brokers rates and what they are actually keeping.

 

No. I am not saying I know ALL BROKERS... I am going off of one broker and a customer that I have that uses the broker, and he gives me the quotes he gets from that broker.

The broker that I am speaking of is one if the biggest firms in the industry.

 

Ok no one has actually answered my original question.This customer you have sounds a little shady,reporting to you about an outside company's rate.Pretty close to colliusin.(Rate setting)

Sorry you feel that way I really wanted to know how some know how much brokers are keeping.You say they keep to much but no one will tell me how they find out what a broker is keeping.
