we have been stuck with a truck full since Thursday night, the receiver refuses to take the load and the broker keeps saying they are working on it since Friday. We cannot lose another day and it's looking like we lost today as well. Is there anything we have a right to do as the trucking company? We have lost 5 days of work, a load coming home for $2500 and are stuck with a full trailer. This has never happened to us before. Please help

Not that I have a solution, but why are they rejecting it?

Find a local small trucking company in your trucks area. See if they have an available trailer/old storage or local trailer. Explain your situation. See if you can work out some kind of deal. Get the truck down the road.
Princessleia and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Chips are routed and payed to take the low altitude route, sounds like someone took a shortcut.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Call the broker and tell him it is going to a storage facility and they can get it when they figure it out . I would also mention that I was going to open the doors and sell it all off in the morning if they had a problem paying for storage .
Princessleia and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
