8" Safety Boots.... I am in and out of the truck multiple times, no time to be taking boots on and off... This is local waste haul...

When I was OTR then I would switch into slippers for driving... I had a little mat beside passenger side for my various footwear (slippers, boots, shoes and sandals). I wasn't in and out of the truck multiple times a day so I could have the opportunity to wear slippers..

I'll tell you tho, when I went local and working in an industry that requires safety boots.. It took me some times getting used to shifting and driving with work boots.. I didn't like it at first as it wasn't as comfortable nor were my ankles as free moving.. I tried low-cut (6") boot but didn't like those so I ended up going back to 8" boot. Now it doesn't phase me..
