Yes. All of the newer trucks have them. There are still a few trucks on the road that don't, but they are in process of getting all them(700's) off the road.
FLYMIKEXL Thanks this. -
Are they all automatics? I heard they are all autos 10 speed
-
All the newer 680s are autos. Again there are still some(quite a few) older 680s on the road still that are manual. Supposedly those will be off the road eventually as well but it's going to take time.
-
What area are you driving in I'm in the Eden North Carolina area
-
I'm from IL went to school in Richfield. I drive everywhere. Was just in Eden today actually. My main freight lanes are from Wisc Ohio Georgia IL and NY.
-
Oh ok cool yea I start school in Eden on the 25th of this month when you start out you have to go OTR you apply for regional ?
-
I'm pretty sure you can go regional right after getting your own truck.FLYMIKEXL Thanks this.
-
It's just the money isn't as good as the OTR drivers get
-
Yea for the most part. I'm averaging about 3400 on my weeks I run the weekend and have had multiple 3800s. I doubt the regional guys are able to get that especially if going home every weekend. I stay out 2 full weeks then go home for 4 days my 3rd weekend out.FLYMIKEXL Thanks this.
