I hate having to call Cheyenne every time I get over 150k and they always want me to go into a port that's way out of my route to weigh.
-
So, can you go into the state from the east to the west and stop at the rest area and call there or do you need to wait outside the state and call before you roll in.
-
You can stop at the rest area its at the first exit from the east so nobody should hassle you
-
I was thinking as long as you stop and immediately make the call to the weigh station to get you number for the permits would be fine.
-
I always call them when I'm about 2 hours out, don't even stop to do it.
-
I don't stop either Oscar never had an issue.

That northbound 25 in cheyenne sure made a big stink. I had clearance but no idea on what scale it was called in to. Apparently not the scale i needed though. I picked up 60 foot aluminum tubing 2 miles to the south of scale.

Must be you called i25 port and you came in on us 85 or the other way around

Had that with a Class A Superload...He was some peaved when I showed up, luckily I had a copy of the entry letter, as I always do, and it was correct. Someone in Cheyenne sent it to I-25, but I was routed in on US85.
