    ...and The Revolution begins. Years from now there will be a statue of Dave holding mustard packets with his arms held high. It will be located at the site of the FJ which will be turned into the Dave Memorial Truck Stop and Corn Dog Palace.

    0121. July 8th. No corndogs. 4 donuts, the ones that no one ever buys. 1 slice of pizza, that looks like it was from Wednesday. There was coffee. Dozen NASTY breakfast sandwiches.

    Here's a glimpse of the fuel island that sums it up pretty well.

    0058. July 9th. No corndogs. Some donuts. Coffee but no Hi Rev. Whole pizza, bought a slice, bad decision. 12 NASTY breakfast sandwiches. They have the NASTY breakfast sandwiches all laid out nice and neat in attempt to fool the unknowing driver.

    0528. July 9th. Just F great. My delicious & healthy cinnamon coffee cake I bought at Fry's and brought with me, somehow turned upside down and now all the icing is melted to the lid.
    I blame DOCKZILLA.

    I've recently noticed some Subways stop selling meatball subs at 10 p.m.. The Arby's & Hardee's (and Carl's) in truck stops won't sell beef until 10:30 a.m..

    0105. July 10th. No corndogs. There was coffee, no Hi-Rev, there were donuts, half of a really awful looking pizza, and of course, a dozen NASTY breakfast sandwiches.
    The J was kind of serene this morning.
    Lots and lots of bobtails. 100s.
    Why in the world would so many people want to spend the weekend at that J of all places???

    Last summer when I was out there, I parked at the Pilot and walked north in the 100 plus heat to find a place to sit down and have a cold beer or two.
    I had trouble finding the place I wanted in the cluster of shopping centers and thought I was going to keel over dead.
    Found a place just in time.
