Something like 90% of NV is government land, between BLM,Military etc... Easy to run into something that your not supposed too. Guarantee your not the first.

But a good reason for it being in Nevada, barren as can be, long sight lines so your not sneaking up on anything, and if they have to chase someone down, few people will notice or care.

And you just might have ran into a resident that thought the signs were funny too.

You are ltl, you don't count.

    Easy for others to say...o_O

There's been quite a few days when I WISH I had more reverse gears.

    Yes.
    No.

    Situation dependant.
Somethings you can't get into or out of without going backward.

    Ideally, I'd never back up.
But the world isn't built to suit me. The sooner others realize that about themselves, the sooner we might have a modicum of peace in this dump.

Backing down an on ramp could be on par with backing into an intersection.

I used to never back my car into parking spaces until I drove. Now I do it all the time.

Backing the full length of your truck isn't bad as long as you have room to do it, and the conditions aren't like the Daytona 500 around, and especially behind you, but even then you gotta do what you gotta do, if that's what you need to do and its congested, your just gonna have to be patient and focused.

Are you over steering to position? Then over steering the other way?

You commented on another thread about backing.

    Ever see the Last Samurai?

Mind of O/O watching. Mind of girl at fuel island watching. Mind of CRST team watching.
    Too many mind.
    No mind.

Did you hit anyone? No. Great backing. You sound like your over steering. As much as I back, I do a pull up at least 3 out 4. I don't run into things, i'll take the pull up, takes seconds.
Takes practice. Do the 12 to 9 set up and go from there.
Dude, never worry about what other people think. No crunch = superb job.

    This is DOCKZILLA.

I was at least 1-1/2 maybe even 2 truck lengths backing into this this morning, you need to hit it square, and there are no reference points.

Lol when I went to school my instructor after our first day said....now let's have some fun.

We go in the truck after he sat out some cones. But he got in the drivers seat on the range. We're thinking great we are going on the road already!

Nope son ##### takes off in reverse foot to the floor and perfectly serpentines thru 5 cones!!!!!!

We all in the back of the sleeper goin ahhhhhhhhhh an ####. Lol.

Then the owner came out & did it to!
