Well I hope you stay safe as well. My work is nighttime work only, so there's little traffic anyways. So I'll ride the right lane, as the law requires (keep right, pass left; slower traffic keep right), and be happy in my apparent ignorance.
No care for other drivers

Well, with the exception of a few megas, and those white Chicago area volvo companies, I do see a lot more dumb stuff from day cab driving locals. From their driving habits to how they interact with othe truck drivers at customer locations, they usually rush, rush, rush, with little regard to safety or courtesy. If I had a dollar for every time a day cab driver thought he should be able to cut a line because "I have a bunch of stops" I'd have a lot more money. Had one once jump out of his truck cussing because I was "in my G.. D... way". He said he's got too much to do to wait on me. I reminded him I had to unload, go get loaded, and be 600 miles away by noon tomorrow. I also reminded him that he'd be home by 17:30. I agree with the idea that daycab/local drivers are often a pain in the rear.

Hey I resent that!!!!

This daycab driving "pain in the rear" gets slammed to the wall with a full trailer every day, usually consisting of 15-20 deliveries PLUS pickups to make on top of that, and I'm NEVER home by 17:30, thank you.

I won't cut a line, but if it's long enough they don't get their freight. -

I had been waiting in the center turn lane for about 20 minutes on a day cabber to finish loading so I could back in when another day cabber thought he had a perfect excuse for cutting in front of me. "I only have one item to unload" To which my retort was; "Me too" Of course my one item was 40,000 pounds of liquid CO2...haha. The battle of the day cabbers is real!

I drive slow and when I move over to let another driver on the road they won't let me back over to wait on a passing opportunity to get around me. They slowly creep by me, sticking me in the left lane. Would it kill you to wait 30 seconds and let me over and then pass me?
And about the center lane. I won't do it but sometimes in heavy traffic with lots of cars coming and going I will. If I stay in the right lane in those heavy traffic situations I find myself in too many oh #### moments. -
20 minutes at one stop is intolerable to me. I don't like being at one place for longer than five.

Positive part of waiting is the hourly pay. But waiting does suck. Wheels ain't turnin you ain't earnin
