Do they accommodate drivers with machines?? Are their inverters in the trucks to run our machines??
-
We do have inverters. Our inverters only run for 2 hours before shutting off. You can get a 12v adapter to use in the truck for it. If you need to be tested for it, it is completely paired for by the company and you must stay in compliance which is 70% of use.

I've had a CPAP machine for a number of years already. Just wanna make sure I can power it in the truck. I also have a 1500w power inverter. But I can't see where that would work if I'm gonna be slip seating trucks.

Wal mart has requirements for sleep apnea, If you require a cpap they will still hire you. They will send you for another sleep study after being hired(no charge to you!) and will purchase a cpap for your use in the truck.

FYI...If you go for a wal mart physical; they check your neck size, BMI and ask you eight questions. If you are flagged by any answer to these questions, you will be sent to get a sleep study done. (the company that administers the test and cpap have a website with the same eight questions...no matter what you answer, it recommends a test) You will be given a device to wear home for one night to see if you have sleep apnea.
If you are required to wear a cpap, you are given a cpap device that records usage and once a day sends in a report on how long you used it each night and you location per gps. (to make sure you are really the person using it) It records your breathing rate and depth of inhalation. You must also use it at home when you are off. Any violation(not using it enough) disqualifies you from driving. You must submit these recordings same as you would phone records when called upon to do so. This shows them you are getting proper sleep in case you are in an accident and they are sued. ATTENTION...this cpap goes on to your permanent record. If you seek employment else where(or are fired) you next company might not be inclined to hire you as you could be a liability to them financially. -
