I still stop at NETS anytime im nearby---ALWAYS treated drivers well too many stories to tell--)BIG BIG THUMBSUP

 

You know we have forgotten the giant in Mohave ca. And most important Jakes in bend or. With all the girl fuel jockeys. Speakin of fuel jockeys remember when you didn't fuel your truck you pulled up jumped out. Watch that first step out of a cabover. Went in to the diner and the fuel jokey parked your truck. When I10 wasn't finished thru phionex az. I was asked a while back why the passes have bed reputations. So I told the kid that before he was born they had been two lane curvy roads. He couldn't believe it.

 

I use to go to the 76 truck stop in Ontario Ca when I was a kid I'd sit in the restaurant and listen to the driver's talk and watch the trucks come and go

 

Blueberry hill is still there on 99 as of a year ago

 

how bout the DECK truck stop in Geneseo IL exit 19 I-80 heck my sister even had her wedding reception there

 

or how bout just up the I-80 in Illinois exit 33 I think Atkinson IL there was an old A-frame truckstop cant rememeber what it was called though

 

I use to work there when I was 16,17 and left at 18. I sure do miss that place. Went back restaurant still standing not open motel was burnt about 10 or 15 years ago. If I had the money I would open it back up and have service like they use to.

 

I used to stop there from time to time when it was open. Was a nice place and quiet

 

Stock Yard Truck stop in Chicago. Used to haul Swinging Beef out of there.. Geeze showing the age again...lol
