34 hr reset over two days

the law/dot doesn't require to flag your restart or keep your recap
all the log rquires is location at change of duty you don't have to tell them what your doing only status and where
there are also other things that are not required such as your odometer readings

 

I not seeing the double talked... but I know what i'm thinking and not what i'm saying??? lol

I may be coming back "ON" duty after say 40 hours of "going" off... this is a change of duty status. "going off" is a change of duty status and "coming on" is a change of duty status. I log that change and also flag it.

At this time also count and make a flag mark only showing where the 34 would have been up/completed. Its a chance for me to recount and make sure I have my 34 in and I haven't had a problem or complaint with the extra marker from the d.o.t., or three different log/safety departments.

I tried to include a picture (worth a thousand words) but photo bucket doesn't like my pictures for some reason this week... in any case it works for moi... have a good one.

 

The 34 hour rest is going to be gone real soon anyways. Just another way that uncle sam is punching it to us.

 

lyion here/ i make a line from 12 mid night say all the way across ,put 24 hours in the box add 24+0+0=24 off duty turn the page mark 10 hours are more ,no on duty no time in the sleeper .its my time, as long as i show were i was when i did my post trip when i start over again it will show my pre trip and location . thats all you need to do .simple . you dont need to show sleeper time if your off duty then its your time no bodys busness till you go back on duty statis simple.!!!!!!!!!!
