    When you have that red check engine light thats flashing say "shut off engine immediately" you better do it.
    When my engine was blew up I was litteraly the next exit from a Kenworth dealer in West Virginia of all places.
    I debated just trying to make the truck there vs dealing and waiting for a tow.
    When I called Kenworth they flat out told me EVERYTHING you do is saved within the truck.
    If you drive the truck when the truck is telling you not to you could void the warrenty work!
    I was like :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Same thing happened to me.
    Once this week actually but when I restarted the truck it went away.. go figure.
    Was planning on buying this truck after the lease is up but don't think I'll do that anymore.

    TennMan and Home_on_wheels Thank this.

    FW I will buy it for remaining balance at the end of your lease... Low mileage KW even with the worst engine made will be worth more than the 66k owed on it.

    Yes this is true, flipping it for a profit makes sense.
    I just don't trust my engine to hang onto for personal use after my lease though.

    On truckpaper any Kenworth under 300,000 miles isn't listed for sale for less than $80,000
    So i figure that's the worst i could do and I'd have less miles, an apu, 13 speed etc all which adds value too.

    It would be nice to get some money back after spending $120,000 on flease paymants lol

    We all knew/know what we were getting into. This program has gone way down hill in the last year. But a lot of lease guys forget to look at this you spent 120k but it's all a write off. So when it's paid for your 1000.00 per week payment is done but pick up another 200.00 to 300.00 per week in tax liabilities...zig zag which is better?
