Once you get final offer everything is good right. Don't want to go to orientation and be sent home. I've seen that happen.
-
If they bring you to orientation all is good.Rnc899 Thanks this.

I am not trying to scare you or anything. One of the drivers in the orientation class with me back in 2013 was sent home during orientation and not hired. The reason? He stated on his application he never worked for Walmart/Sam's Club. When they went to enter his name into the computer to set up his ID card and payroll, he was already in their system. He had worked for a Walmart store years ago, but did not truthfully answer the question on the application about working for Walmart/Sam's Club previously, thus he was sent home and not hired.
As long as everything on your application was truthful, you have no reason to worry once you get to orientation. What happened with the driver in my class was a rare thing to happen.Woodenleg Thanks this. -
I applied to Walmart transportation on may 4th for a driver position in hermiston, oregon. I live in phoenix,az and have to relocate for the job. I passed phone interview and I have pretrip/road test setup in hermiston for the 21st of this month. I know it's hard even getting to that point. I'm 30 years old so I know I'll be one of the younger drivers. Does anyone have any info on the hermiston dc goods/bads?
