Steve Ritchie was an ace during the Vietnam war. While he was at the United States Air Force Academy, he got in serious trouble multiple times. He drove a motorcycle through formation and also got caught having relationships with a local filly from the Springs in the engine compartment of a F104. Me, I am a member of Alpha No Nookie. We did without so others might have.

Fighting, and wrong words with other members will get ya in a lot of trouble here. Gottttts to watch what you say. You just might get a visit from the Eagle, who is one of me best friends here. you will know when you see his avatar, the coolest one on here. Be careful.............

OP, I would not worry the top bunk supporting you. They're rated at 500 lbs from what I have heard. Getting used to living with a total stranger for two months will be a challenge.
Teddy_Salad Thanks this. -
Not really as long as he's into gladiators.

@Teddy_Salad, back to the original question. . . when I first started OTR... my 2nd co. was Fedex/Linehaul aka teams. The bottom bunk was 'mine,' the top was "Bobby's" . . . and we are both big-ish [I'm 6'1'" about 200 on a good day] guys. HOWEVER, we would switch bedding accordingly because we were rolling more than being stopped/sleeping. . . because.... it's not the safest place to be, sleeping on the TOP bunk while the truck is moving, REGARDLESS OF the person's size, and the 'restraints' that are in place for such.
In the sad event of hard-braking, low bridge, etc etc etc..., I wouldn't want him, nor me, upstairs. Just my .02 cents!
Good luck with your endeavours~ be safe.Teddy_Salad Thanks this. -

At first I played it like a guitar just exploring it. Learned to play it more like a banjo after awhile, it's a fun instrument. I prefer it over an acoustic guitar, I love the sound.
Mines a 6string, want to get a 5 string for the benefit of the drone string.
Don't be intimidated by some of the more complicated banjo rolls, I've done some really simple ones that sound great. It's a forgiving instrument.
The first song I learned on it was actually Blackest Crow from Megadeth, simple banjo part. But I moved on to mountain music real quick (proud of myself when I finally played some F&S). I grew up in KY, so I've always loved the Banjo.Teddy_Salad and LindaPV Thank this. -
DADGAD is a beautiful tuning for guitar, especially if you like the Drone.G13Tomcat and FerrissWheel Thank this.
