Ultimate antenna mounting stud coming soon

mines run door to the frame of the truck.....

 

mine runs door to frame...guess i better look at my post spelling before i send it... what antenna stud do you use??? i use the predator stainless steel stud. i got it thru walcott cb for $22.00. its the very best stud i've found. im waiting to see rabbi p. and the stud he is coming out with. with the equipment i run everything matters. coax the stud ground strap.i always try to use stainless steel. doesn't always work but i try.............

 

Well you daw my mount..Stud is from hard drive and so is coax...Not useing his coax atm cause the #'s are way outta wack compared to my old truck stop cb shop coax and i have no idea how to go about fixing it..
Ill have to do a comparision in the next day or two when i mt out and get an area i can drag out my mfj 259b..

 

Oh i know that..Just have no idea what direction to go....I have tried longer shorter ant,diff mounts,diff studs,single coil,dbl coil,5 ft fibreglass top loaded,back of the cab and ya all saw my latest attempt with that long shafted mount....I even have two braded wire straps goin from door to cab....That 14 ft slab of ss you suggested is a big gamble just to try to see if it works...Was off most of this yr with cancer #### so budget is limited..Kinda been diggin into my saveing to keep bills paid n such but not blowin it on cb stuff....Started my 1st run yesterday in a month so once my walkin around $$ picks up in more willing to try expensive ideas...
