Most people I know who control the diabetes with injections usually just about pass out or temporally go blind cause there sugar is way too high or way too low. So I can see why they cannot drive if they need the needle.

As a paramedic, the people that pass out or go blind as you state are usually tied to non compliant diabetes. This means they fail to control their diets and monitor their injection times.
The reason they are an issue with DOT is that they are a potential pass out. It is known that the lifestyle of a trucker is not a consistent timing which alot of diabetics need. -
Awesome! My glucose was 104 when I was tested last month.
But my blood pressure is about 98/60. I feel fine, I don't get dizzy or faint ever, but it always freaks nurses out. :/ -
Is there anyway around insulin dependent diabetics keeping or getting their cdl?
