If you worry about the bracket don't worry about the antennas I'll take care of it

If you make a cardboard template and test fit it to a Volvo 660 and also to a Freightliner Cascadia tweaking it where necessary you should be able to come up with a bracket that fits on both trucks with separate bolt patterns for each truck. That would make it extremely versatile. It only needs to wrap around the outside of the fairings by 4 inches just enough to weld up a metal plate to the outside to Mount Your stud.
It serves an electrical purpose also. It guarantees that both antennas will have the same RF ground potential

There's a place in Kansas City Missouri called Metal by the Foot and I just spoke to them and they told me they had quarter inch thick by 4 inches wide at $13.88 per foot. That would work perfect. It's always best to make a cardboard template first so you know exactly how much metal you are going to need

Well im in canada..When i get home next week ill call around a few machine shops and see what the price is..
Still would be nice to see a finished product so i can wrap my head around it visually..In the mean time i gotta work with what i have..
You saw the pic of #'s i posted...Tried to tune with marks coax and impedence was to high, swr was so so,r# was a lil high but it resonated fairly well..

i think mark uses lmr 240 ultra flex... you could buy try astatic coax from some truck stops its actually really good coax....keep the receipt and package if it doesnt do the trick get your $$$$$ back. if that doesnt't work im thinking what rabbi said. you got problems man lol

Rabbi...I truely appreciate the advice and ant offer but for now its not in my financial cards...Just to many more important expences i have to cover before i get to playin ant tester/doctor for a bit yet...We are in the same wave length when it comes to that bracket but slightly different ways of doin it..Like i said before,i already had same basic idea last fall and its stuck in my head but yours is more refined..
I have another treatment comming up on the 27th so if i feel no odd side effects ill be goin back doin usa work rather than more localized..That way i make more and have more options....Just dont wanna be stuck in usa with a cancer related issue cause then ill end up payin with a body parts lol..
