As long as you are under 5'5". We've all seen you stretched out in rest areas across the seat or slumped over a steering wheel. You yourself said you were concerned about your future, the pay cut you took, and being on call 24/7. If it's mechanical, it'll break down, ESPECIALLY these new trucks. No one is immune, no matter your company.

I am going by actual out of service numbers and maintenance history from the DOT as reflected by the entire fleet nationwide. All public knowledge, so go look it up.

You still did not answer my question. Why are you so concerned about what someone at a company you do not work for pays for insurance?

I think the obvious answer is you were rejected when you tried to get hired here and just have an axe to grind. Now, that is what I call common sense!

No sir they offered me a job and I turned it down because my wife needs good insurance. That's a fact and for the hundredth time I simply responded to a question someone asked about Walmart insurance and everyone got defensive.

Well I gotta go shop at Walmart and use my 10% discount card thanks to my wife. Lol

And I'm just shocked that a company like Walmart with such big profits can't offer there employees better insurance.

Those poor people working in the stores can't afford that crap insurance.

Where's the gun to their head "forcing" them to work there? They could go out to the oil fields and really work for a living, and sacrifice home time, and get great benefits. Obama care has really hurt companies, my wife has been lowered to 30 hrs to avoid having to be offered full time benefits as a direct result. You too will find out at ABF, that they are not immune to rising health costs. They just keep eating them to keep to your union contract. They can only "eat" so much. The money has to come from somewhere. Many, many union jobs have negotiated themselves right out of work because of it. There has to be a give and take on both sides, as most all of us have seen over the years. At your age, I and you both know that the probability of ABF being there until you retire is very uncertain, at best. You said it yourself. Then what?

Well, I looked for a forum for you to post in about your love for ABF, but unfortunately for some reason they don't have a dedicated forum in the "Trucking Company Forums" like they have for other legitimate companies. So, I guess that explains why you're trolling this one, huh? I guess you're just lonely, huh?

I did find one on LTL in general, so maybe you can find someone over there to brag to about your union job, here's the link: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/forums/ltl-and-local-delivery-trucking-forum.396/

I didn't want you to have to look for another forum yourself, so I found one for you and even provided the link. I know, I'm such a "GIVER"!!

U are incorrect. Do you really think if I can drive at abf that I can't get hired at Walmart. Give me a break. It wasn't that hard to get an offer of employment.
