You still did not answer my question. Why are you so concerned about what someone at a company you do not work for pays for insurance?

Show me some evidence a job offer with Walmart was ever made, otherwise I will stick to what I already stated in that you a just driver with an axe to grind against a company who did not hire you.

ABF hires straight out of school like Swift. Anyone smart enough would work for OD if they wanted to be in LTL.

Listen brother abf doesn't just hire anybody. I got a job offer at Walmart. How would I have proof if I turned the job down, use your brain. Believe what u want, I could give 2 ####s what u think. Everyone getting offers to come to Walmart thinks it's great because there coming from a ####ty company. That wasn't the case in my situation. Everyone knows abf has some of the best drivers out there. Look at our safety record!!

If you really did have a job offer with Walmart, you would have proof. It would be documented.

Oh, I am well aware of ABF's safety record...... or should I say mediocre safety record..... all public knowledge. Most people don't look for other jobs if they are so content where they are.

You still did not answer my question. Why are you so concerned about what someone at a company you do not work for pays for insurance?

ABF hires guys fresh from school and even trains forklift drivers from the dock in Arkansas. We don't even dip that low because all you guys tired of waiting on a phone call to work are applying with us!

I am enjoying it quite frankly. Always fun having a battle of wits against someone who comes unarmed with facts and just makes a bigger fool of themself.

com'on guys, let's all quit our jobs to be dock/combo drivers for 5 years until smelling the inside of a truck fulltime!

Truth is, ABF is struggling. OD and FXF take everything from them while Abf's drivers are too busy battling their own employer.

    TomOfTx Thanks this.

Spot on! Financial reports filed by ABF show exactly this. Lower freight tonnage being hauled, lower net earnings, yet blame the reductions due to the economy and LOWER fuel costs (resulting in lower fuel surcharges) all while ABF's competitors are increasing freight volume and revenue.
