Been here a year.
We haul raw milk.
All local.
Good equipment(we just got a bunch on new petes)
Good hourly pay w/OT.
Great insurance.
Staff and dispatchers treat you like a human.
The hours can get long(up to 16 because we are AG), but the shifts go fast.
Good gig.

What's the pay rate? Do you haul tanker? What's your schedule like? I live near Ripon. Is this the actual name of the company?
-
Yes, tanker.
$17 hr with OT after 40.
Days are 12-16 hours.
14 avg.
5 days on, 2 off.
5 days on, 3 off.
Blue shield ins.
No union.
You need a "weigher/sampler" license.
You can train without it, but you will need it to pick up milk from the dairies.
Our receivers are in Hayward, Tracy, Fairfield, Turlock, and a bunch of others.
It's a pretty crazy job at first, but once you figure it out, it's a good gig.

How often those tanks get cleaned out ?

Not a big deal. -
Greetings Jet460, I have a road test coming up. Any advice? What is training like as a new hire? I have little tanker experience but they said they will work with me...
-
You will ride with a driver, and watch what they do. The days can top 16 hours. Average is about 13-14. Good gig, but you will earn every dime.
dwells40 Thanks this.
