I get so sick of all of the ones who fail in this industry and one of first things they pull is the race card. I'll have you know that I am a proud African American who has been trained by white, black, and even an Indonesian trainer. Here's the question: What did YOU screw up? Trainers sleeping while student drives and denying you lunch? Oh the inhumanity! Liar! I don't know what kind of trainers you had. My trainers kept food on the trucks when I was an OTR trainee and my concrete job trainer fed me. You know the amazing part? None of them asked for anything in return. I had to force them to accept gifts from me cos that's how I was raised. Give back. My trainers slept while I drove in OTR training. The program was designed so that me, the student was able to seen as trustworthy and safe. Can't be trusted, you don't need to be driving .
And these racist actions... Just what were they? Oh many were against interracial relationships? Big deal! I've worked around Aryans and other races that had their opinions. And I'm so sick of all the b/s over the Confederate flag. Some people are proud of their Southern roots. I even own some of the Confederate merchandise. Come off of it. Welcome to America. First amendment hurts don't it? Be sure to have your facts straight before posting crap.

 

Protest or shoot some trainers. Seems to work for all the others not getting their way and blaming oppression in this country.

I proudly display my Confederate flag. I reckon I'm raysis lol. On a serious note the word racist, racism.....etc has no meaning anymore because it's been played out. There are fewer and fewer people who actually experienced racism on a daily basis still living. That's why I ask questions whenever I get the chance and 99% of the elderly folks are more than willing to tell their stories. Its about learning about the past as to not repeat it.

 

Being of German decent, I am offended by the use of "Soup Nazi"... It makes us all look like mean aggressive people... And they never asked us for permission to use the word "nazi" which has even been trade marked. (Hey, if it works for the Indians, maybe we can bank some coin from it too... Shrug.

(While proud of my heritage, the above was intended to be humorous... Probably failed)
