No sir. I've left once. This next time will be it. I'm 55, have a wife that wants me home, and have zero desire to be out here sharing the roads with today's malcontents and patently unqualified CDL holders. My next gig will be one I can pursue from home with an absolute minimum of necessary human contact. Potentially, I could earn considerably more than I ever did trucking.

No, sir. I will most certainly not be back.

Lol a couple weeks ago, saw an IC in the same predicament parked for the night at the bar across the street

Pulled many trailers that had that very same issue, actually pulled one today like that. Never been given grief by a DOT officer for something like that though.
