Never in my life have I booked a load under $1.50
I've gone below that do to circumstances beyond my control after it's on the truck. But never beforehand.spyder7723, Terry270, 6wheeler and 1 other person Thank this. -
A $1.50 is too cheap. Don't go below $2.00. Then the $1.00 mile loads will go away along with most lease purchases. That is what created the $1.00 rate in the first place.
thejackal, LGarrison and HopeOverMope Thank this. -
Why in the world would I show you my rate conformation sheets, I don't think anyone that pulls freight that pays between $2.00 and $3.00 per mile would share that information with anyone, I sure as heck will not.
bzinger, flood, Starboyjim and 4 others Thank this. -
$2 a mile loads come with strings attach now days 10 stops long delivery date for shorter distance.. Sorry but the brokers all together they're wining....
Starboyjim Thanks this. -
Very true. I like to bid round trip freight into the bone dead areas no one else wants. Then you have lots of options. Bounce home if nothing is worth it.
Or negotiate on your terms.TRUCKDUCKY Thanks this. -
Thats why we getting ripped off
Because you would want to help your fellow truckers they can then show there agent and demand that rate as well...Its call uniting that what the big trucking companies shippers brokers all do that why they winning... -

It's called capitalism. Dog eat dog. Sharing good contact info with friends is one thing. But if you think everybody's supposed to hold hands and share, your in the wrong line of work my friend.
spyder7723, OLDSKOOLERnWV, Ruthless and 5 others Thank this.
