I'm sorry to hear that. Did they tell you why you weren't qualified? You mentioned you had a clean MVR and criminal record.

What I was told was that there were more qualified applicants. How it was explained to me was that the classes were small in size and I'm assuming those picked over me had some sort of experience driving truck. The recruiter I spoke with wanted me to keep trying to get on with their company though. We'll see how that all works out, I'll be giving Celadon a buzz in the morning.

Gave Celadon a phone call this morning and asked a couple questions but was told they wouldn't send me to training because I'm from California and that California makes it difficult to transfer CDL's state to state. Off to find another company, local school is just too expensive at $4,500 for right now.

    *edit*

Just tried filling out an app on Roehl's website, apparently they're not hiring from my area.. Time to talk to knight...

OP, maybe try Abilene? They are on the east coast but they run a lot to Cali from what I heard here.

I'll give them a look, east coast would be best tbh.. I'm looking to move as far from California as possible haha. I've been noticing quite a few companies offer tuition reimbursement if you train at a school, I'm assuming that is fairly common place? It doesn't sound bad it's just hard to fork over $4,500 at the moment so I might end up saving for that.
